This school is terrible. They do not care about student safety. The advisers do not give you accurate information. The campus itself is dirty, parking is terrible, and they require you to use a bunch of useless apps for just about everything. Also, the housing is very old and not safe. Constant car break ins and there is nothing fun to do locally.

I have noticed more police and security on campus but I don't know if it's safe to have guns or policemen with guns who can have racial biases and hurt my BIPOC community. Other than that, there are great professors who really try to educate us and help us.

As a transfer student from community college I'm quite disappointed by the quality of the education. My first thought was "wow this place seems worse than my community college". The campus is nothing special, some of the buildings are very old and the class rooms are really cramped. The courses are no better than CC courses, some even worse.

The wi-fi on campus has become astronomically bad.How do I know?Because when I connect to internet at home, I never lose my connection.How can I be on campus looking at a clear blue campus and cant connect with a brand new Mac?Where is your increased tuition going?The Board of Trustees ivory tower filled with our money.

Absolutely do not recommend this school. Housing is so unprofessional and does anything to charge their students even more. Parking services is the worst and does anything they can and find any reason to give anyone a ticket. Not only do they love handing out tickets, but they also can't even prevent student's cars from being stolen or broken into.

Overall, it's not bad, but since it's such a small school class offerings and research opportunities are limited. The campus is not particularly impressive, and its location makes it not particularly safe or easy to get to due to traffic.

Social dead zone. Unless you plan on working as a gender studies professor, avoid this campus. They exist to produce SJW only. Industry doesn't come here to recruit .... they go to USC. Caruso Properties which owns The Grove recruits at USC because Caruso was a USC Trustee. FQHC clinics and liquor stores recruit at Cal State LA. Go to UC, man.

Is this even a university? Look at UCLA; they are going off with their research, and what tf did this school do? Settle a parking lot graduation, lmao. It's not "We are LA." In fact, it's "We are disrespectful and underfunded!" I feel bad for all the good professors teaching here; this CSU is a failure.

A disappointing university in LA, I swear. If I could go back in time, I would apply to Fullerton. Rude students who don't say hi and bye, especially as someone attending. People here that I met don't care about "the college experience" and come for class, then leave. Should I even continue? If you want a parking lot graduation, come here! I'm out!

This school wastes its money on irrelavent things, their money needs to be directed towards updating the buildings and resources on campus. Everything is falling apart in MLK Hall, bathrooms are horrid with tapped machines to dispose toilet covers, water fountains are broken, mold & mildew dorms, horrible funding graduation (PARKING LOT)

Almost no club or social life, with HORRIBLE food options. Advisem*nt is TERRIBLE, I had such a rude advisor the one time I actually needed help. Another friend of mine got poor advisem*nt that he didn't even get to graduate with me. Someone got shot near the dorms recently with no extra police or anything. We graduate in a parking lot.

Avoid this CSU at all costs. Students spend $6k to graduate in a parking lot; the other reviews don't lie. I feel bad for the students that come here. Ranked #1 in the nation for Upward Mobility, my foot. A total letdown for students and their parents that sacrificed a lot for them. Do your research and decide wisely on a CSU, leave this hot mess.

I am a first-gen and a freshman, hearing that they have a 2-3 year contract for having graduation in parking lots. This school should have some shame for not using common sense and using the field/Lucksman. Should I even continue at this point? Do yourself a favor, and take your credits to a well-known university that's not "underfunded." Good luck

Cant finish my B.A. in performance because of all the fake classes, faculty retirements and woke curriculum. Praying against that I can transfer out. What a sad state of affairs.The buildings are old. The air reeks of failure and that is the CSULA Administration. Do you want to graduate in a parking lot? That is the only question you should ask.

This school is on a massive decline, on the outside it looks like an okay functioning CSU but after a short moment you will see some poor maintenance and then you will realize when you take a closer look it's not that pretty fact that some of the building still have airborne contaminants like asbestos, the surrounding area is sketchy nevertheless.

Stay away from Valley Blvd if you don't want to end up a victim of a violent crime cause the marijuana dispensary / pot warehouse so close to the dorms is causing major safety issues, plus the gangs. Administration here is ruled by Marxism and BLM. Go to a community college then try for UC or USC. Like Kanye said, "Don't act like I never told ya"

If you're an introvert then this is the place for you. School by far has the saddest social life ever unless you dorm.($$$)CSULA is known to be a commuter school so everyone just goes to class then straight home. In college, being able to network with other people is essential. Clubs are dead, they always bring up that it's their "reviving phase."
