As a suburb, there's just homes in all directions and the home types and residents CAN differ greatly from one subdivision to the other (not always). There are small trailer parks within a mile or so that look pretty dilapidated, but nice houses in the 300s all around where we live. Seems quiet, just some occasional noise and since we're close to the base, lots of booms and range fire from Fort Liberty. Drivers can be annoying, some think they are NASCAR drivers drafting and passing quickly, but it's not as bad as the I5 in California, which is white knuckle driving. The summers SUCK as the dew point is high (70s) and you can't do anything outside without feeling like you're in a car wash. That is what I can't stand here and probably why I won't stay, but to each his own I guess....
